Meet Candice

Your Guide

I started working in the medical field at just 16 years old, filing charts at a primary care office after school. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to do more than just file paperwork—I wanted to learn everything I could to help people. I looked up to the Nurse Practitioners there, though at the time, becoming one felt out of reach.

Little by little, I worked my way up. I went from chart filer to front office staff and billing, then later became a medical assistant while earning my LPN in 2007. I loved being a nurse, but I knew I wanted to do even more for patients. That passion pushed me to continue my education and become an RN in 2011.

When I moved from Michigan to South Carolina, I was only working three days a week and didn’t know many people. So—I figured, why not keep going? I went back to school again and earned my Nurse Practitioner degree in 2015.

In my very first NP job, I was introduced to hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and medical weight loss. That’s where I discovered my passion for both entrepreneurship and midlife health. I quickly realized how overlooked women’s hormonal health has been—too many women are misdiagnosed or left without answers because medical schools provide so little education on this topic.

One belief has guided me ever since: menopause is inevitable, but suffering through it is not.

For the past 10 years, I’ve focused on learning everything I can about midlife health, diving into up-to-date, evidence-based research to properly guide and educate my patients. My favorite part of what I do is walking alongside patients on this journey and seeing their quality of life improve dramatically with hormone replacement and other therapies.
